Our time at Tortuguero Beach was peaceful and secluded—truly a hidden gem. We took our time exploring this beach with the vast jungle views behind us and the open Caribbean sea in front of us.
Besides the gorgeous views and the sea turtles, there is not much to say about Tortuguero Beach that I hadn’t mentioned in this previous post, so for now, I will focus on the outfit that I wore. My outfit was simple and low maintenance. I wore a dress, hat, and some sandals. What more do you need for a quick stroll on the beach?
My dress was cobalt blue and made of lightweight crepe fabric (from Lulu’s). The best part was the embroidered back. Although, my hair covered most of it while walking around, whoops! Another thing I love about this dress is the adjustable straps. Basically, you can tug on the two strings in the back until the front covers you properly, then tie a knot by the nape of your neck. This could be a perfect fit for anyone!
My hat was great for traveling because it was flexible enough to roll up and stuff in a suitcase without getting damaged! (Also from Lulu’s).
My shoes were not the most fashionable, but if you wanted something that’s convenient, comfortable and practical for traveling, then I would recommend my open-toed Tevas sandals! We met another girl with the same shoes during our trip, so that’s how you know my advice is legit, hehe.
